How to Enter

Nominating your charity for an award is a straightforward process. Here's how you can enter the Charity Excellence Awards: 

1. Eligibility: The awards are open to any current member of Charities Institute Ireland. 
2. Choose your Categories: You can enter as many categories as you like, submitting each entry separately via the online form. Click on the categories below to read the criteria. 
3. Write your Main Entry: Your nomination will be judged on a supporting statement of no more than 1000 words. The statement should outline how the nominated organisation or person has demonstrated excellence, (where relevant) innovation, commitment and overall dedication to the sector. Please check individual categories for specific criteria. 
4. Free to enter for members of the Charities Institute Ireland. If you are not a member, please visit https://www.charitiesinstituteireland.ie/pages/become-a-member 
5. Nominate online via Submit.com – Our new, easy-to-use platform. Complete your entry, upload files, make edits, and save your progress to return at any time—all in one place. https://charitiesinstitute.submit.com/
   
   

After submitting your entry, you will receive a confirmation email. Soon after the awards close for entries, the shortlist will be announced, and an independent panel of expert judges will select the winners. The winners will be announced at the Charity Excellence Awards ceremony on 2 October 2025 at the Round Room at the Mansion House in Dublin.
