The Ireland Funds has opened a new round of its Heart of the Community Fund, with $1 million in grants being awarded across two targeted funding rounds this year.
For this round, applications are invited from organisations across the island of Ireland working in the areas of arts, culture and community-based arts programmes.
Funding is available through two strands:
Arts and Culture Organisations
This strand is open to organisations working to promote, preserve and develop all forms of art and culture. Eligible organisations may apply for core funding to support their ongoing activities and operations.
Community Organisations with Arts-based Programmes
This strand is designed for community organisations seeking funding for a specific arts-based project or programme. Applicants will be asked to outline how the funding will be used, with expenditure directly related to the programme or project for which support is being sought.
Applications must be submitted through The Ireland Funds' online application portal.
Application deadline: Friday, 2 October 2026 at 5.00pm.
