Forvis Mazars announces three-year partnership with rising Irish athletics star Emma Moore

Forvis Mazars is backing rising Irish 800m star Emma Moore in a three-year partnership, supporting her push for international success and Olympic qualification at LA 2028.

Our valued strategic partner Forvis Mazars has announced a new three-year sponsorship agreement with rising middle-distance star, Emma Moore. This sponsorship provides  long-term support as she targets international success and qualification for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

The partnership, which commenced on 1 June 2026, will provide the 800m track athlete with financial support throughout the next phase of her career, alongside performance-based incentives as she pursues success on the international stage.

This announcement comes as Emma prepares for a busy international season following a remarkable breakthrough year. Earlier this year, the 22-year-old from Oranmore, Co. Galway twice lowered the Irish Under-23 indoor 800m record before making her senior championship debut at the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Torún, Poland. More recently she produced a lifetime best of 2:00.71 at the prestigious Golden Spike meeting in Ostrava, moving to within a fraction of the coveted two-minute barrier.

Emma’s breakthrough season follows several years of significant adversity. Serious injury and Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (REDs) disrupted much of her development during 2023 and 2024. Working closely with coach Joe Ryan and specialists at the Sport Ireland Institute, Emma rebuilt both her health and confidence, returning stronger than ever to establish herself as one of Ireland’s most exciting 800m prospects.

Emma's journey reflects the qualities Forvis Mazars values most: resilience, ambition and a commitment to continual improvement. The partnership also aligns with the firm's employer value proposition, Grow. Belong. Impact., and its longstanding commitment to investing in people with long-term potential. The partnership has been structured to support Emma’s continued development, reflecting a shared commitment to sustained excellence rather than short-term success.

Commenting on the sponsorship, Tom O’Brien, Managing Partner of Forvis Mazars in Ireland, said:

“At Forvis Mazars, we believe the greatest achievements are rarely overnight successes. They are built through hard work, resilience, continuous improvement and the support of people who believe in your potential.

Emma’s journey embodies many of the values that define our own firm. Like our people, she has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to achieving her goals through a relentless pursuit of excellence. We are incredibly proud to support her over the next three years and look forward to being part of what promises to be an exciting chapter in her career.”

Emma Moore said:

“Having a partner like Forvis Mazars behind me gives me confidence to keep chasing my goals and focus on becoming the best athlete I can be.The last few years have taught me that progress isn’t always straightforward, but with the right people around you, anything is possible. It’s really exciting to be partnering with a firm that shares that mindset and genuinely believes in backing people over the long term. My focus now is on continuing to improve, breaking the two-minute barrier and ultimately competing with the very best in the world.”

Emma’s coach and Head of Athletics at Dublin City University (DCU), Joe Ryan, said:

“Emma has always possessed exceptional talent, but what really sets her apart is her willingness to trust the process and commitment to getting a little better every day. The last few years have demanded enormous patience and resilience, yet she has never lost sight of where she wants to go. Partnerships like this give talented athletes like Emma the confidence and stability to focus on reaching their potential. That’s incredible valuable at this stage of Emma’s career.”

Under the partnership, Forvis Mazars will support Emma's preparations over the next three years and beyond as she pursues continued international success and her ambition of competing at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
