Title : Philanthropy Manager
Reports to: National Fundraising Lead
Contract type: Full-time
Hours: 35 hours per week
Location: Based in Dublin, with opportunities for part-time remote working*
* Note: There will be a mix of office and remote based working for this role over the coming months as we return to more regular working arrangements following temporary arrangements that were in place due to Covid 19 restrictions.

What you’ll do
As Philanthropy Manager, you will have an opportunity to shape the Society’s philanthropic strategy, supporting the Irish Cancer Society to become a leader in identifying, cultivating and stewarding major donors. Working with senior leaders in the Irish Cancer Society, you will be supported to see your vision come to light. You will be part of the development of best in class philanthropic and major donor engagement and play a role in delivering sustainable fundraising.
You will in turn help support people whose lives have been affected by cancer across Ireland.
As Philanthropy Manager your responsibilities will be:
Strategy development and implementation
Management, planning and financial goal setting
Relationship building and stakeholder management
Stewardship
Collaboration
