The Charities Regulator is encouraging charities take part in its latest sector survey, which is carried out every two years to build a clearer picture of the challenges, experiences and needs across Ireland's charity sector.
The survey, being conducted independently by IPSOS B&A, will build on research carried out since 2020. The findings help track trends across the sector, identify emerging issues, and inform future guidance and support for charities and trustees.
With almost 11,500 registered charities in Ireland, the Regulator is keen to hear from as many people as possible, recognising that experiences can vary significantly between organisations and roles. The survey is anonymous and takes approximately 20 minutes to complete.

The Charities Regulator has also launched a new interactive sector report as part of a dedicated data hub on its website. The report allows users to explore information from the Register of Charities in a more accessible and user-friendly way.
Users can examine data on areas such as income, donations, volunteer numbers and employment levels, with information available by legal structure and charitable purpose. The new resource aims to improve understanding of the scale, diversity and impact of Ireland's charity sector.
