Charities Institute Ireland is thrilled to announce the return of one of our most dynamic and collaborative events – the Cii Charity Hack, taking place on Friday, 14 November 2025 at LinkedIn HQ, Dublin 2.
This one-day event is designed to generate practical, innovative solutions to real-world challenges faced by charities. Facilitated by Kevin Delaney, Director of the Academy Street Workshop, the Hack brings together five charities and teams of expert volunteers to collaborate intensively on issues that matter.
Each selected charity (known as a Hackee) will present a key challenge they are facing, such as campaign design, fundraising strategy, board recruitment, HR or governance. These challenges will be tackled by dedicated teams of four to six expert volunteers (Hackers), who will bring their professional skills and creative thinking to the table. Hackers work closely with their assigned charity for the full day, helping them to gain new perspectives, strategic insights and practical next steps.
If your organisation has a fundraising or operational challenge and could benefit from dedicated support and expert thinking, we invite you to apply to be considered by clicking here.
We are also seeking passionate, skilled professionals to volunteer as Hackers. Whether your expertise is in fundraising, marketing, project management, strategy, design or governance, your insights could help a charity overcome a critical barrier and move forward with renewed clarity. To register your interest in volunteering as a Hacker by clicking here.
Whether you're a charity in need of fresh thinking, or a changemaker ready to share your expertise, Charity Hack 2025 is your chance to collaborate, learn, and drive real impact — in just one day.
