Charity Trustees Week 2024, running from November 11–15, brings an incredible lineup of free events designed for both current and aspiring charity trustees to connect, learn, and celebrate their contributions. Organised by the Charities Regulator in partnership with key organisations like Boardmatch Ireland, Carmichael, Charities Institute Ireland (Cii), Dóchas, Pobal, The Wheel, and Volunteer Ireland, this annual event is dedicated to supporting the 76,000+ trustees across Ireland who help guide over 11,500 registered charities
The Staying on Course: Balancing Strategy and Risk to Empower Trustees to Dream Big for Impact webinar is a standout event. Hosted by Charities Institute Ireland and led by Lisa-Nicole Dunne from Mantra Strategy, this session empowers trustees to pursue impactful goals while balancing governance and risk. A panel of experienced trustees will also share firsthand insights on guiding strategy, with time allocated for an extended Q&A. Running online on the 13th of November from 11 am to midday, the session will also be recorded for participants to review post-event.
