Ecclesiastical Insurance Ireland, in collaboration with the Benefact Group, is offering €500,000 in funding to support innovative and impactful projects through the Movement for Good 2024 Awards.
Charities working in education and skills, rural or community development, heritage, arts or culture, and climate change or the environment are encouraged to apply for grants of €10,000 or more. Applications can be submitted online at www.movementforgood.com/largergrants/
The Movement for Good awards have already made a significant impact, with three Irish charities—Kids’ Own Publishing Partnership in Sligo, Jigsaw, the National Centre for Youth Mental Health, and A Sense of Cork Midsummer Arts Festival in Cork—receiving substantial grants in 2023.
David Lane, Managing Director for Ecclesiastical Insurance Ireland, said: “We urge all eligible Irish charities to apply for our large grants. This funding provides a unique chance to bring transformative ideas to life and create lasting benefits in our communities. We know that a grant of €10,000 + can make a huge difference to the work charities do across the country”
Since the inception of the Movement for Good awards in 2019, over €540,000 has been donated to various charities across the Island of Ireland. This year’s initiative aims to support even more charities in their mission to make a positive difference.
