AIB Community €1 Million Fund 2024 Now Open!

It’s back! The third annual AIB Community €1 Million Fund, which will again in 2024 support over 70 local charities in communities across Ireland, is now open for nominations. 

Since launching in 2022, the AIB Community €1 Million Fund has supported over 150 charities across Ireland, Northern Ireland and Great Britain including Lough Ree Access for All, Cuan Soar Women’s Refuge Support Services, Spraoi agus Spórt Family Centre Limited and St. Francis National School.

Now the fund is back for 2024 and it’s time to get your nominations in! Visit aib.ie/community-fund to nominate your charity before 12 June.

By having your say in the AIB Community €1 Million Fund, AIB customers, the public and employees can nominate local organisations across six regions in the fund – Munster, Ulster, Greater Dublin, Rest of Leinster, Connacht, and Northern Ireland & Great Britain that matter most to them!

Once nominations are confirmed, the top six nominees for each of the five regions will be asked to present to an AIB regional panel. Four charities in each region will each receive €28,000, while two will each receive €4,000. The selected charities will be announced in early Autumn of this year.

Don't waste your vote! There are things to consider before nominating your charity. Nominated charities can only receive funding once every three years, so be sure to check out the full list of 2022 & 2023 charities before you nominate. Nominations will close on Wednesday; 12 June so don’t miss your chance to nominate a charity that matters most to you and your community for them to be in with a chance to receive funding from the AIB Community €1 Million Fund
