Since 1994, Barretstown has been a sanctuary of hope and fun for children and young people facing serious illnesses across Ireland and the world. To mark 30 years of its work, Barretstown commissioned The Social Impact and Social Value of Barretstown 1994-2023 report which outlines the impact and value of their work helping seriously ill children to rebuild their confidence, independence, self-esteem and enhance their emotional wellbeing.

The research, which drew from a diverse pool of stakeholders involving extensive consultations with over 1,500 individuals, underscores the profound societal resonance of Barretstown's mission.
