2024 sees the launch of Cii’s new Data Intelligence Network - a forum for like minded data curious folk in the social impact sector. The sector can at times be a lonely place for data enthusiasts and Cii is keen to provide a space for connection, peer to peer support and knowledge exchange.
We invite all those with an aptitude or curiosity for data to sign up to explore opportunities from developing broad data strategy and nurturing a data-driven culture, to deep-dives into the potential of leveraging particular tools. Sessions will be tailored to different levels of data familiarity and skills, focussing on the common ground of untapped opportunity in this space.
The aim is to bring together a broad mix of data champions across the sector - likely spanning but not exclusive to junior database administrators, IT managers, fundraisers, analysts and senior management. This network’s focus will be CRM agnostic with a focus on leveraging nonprofit data rather than specific platforms.
A core aim of this network is to grow this pool, to empower and develop its members and ultimately to give the data in this sector the attention it deserves. Together we can leverage the pooled knowledge of members and also connect with experts in the field as nonprofits move forwards on their data journey.
