In a powerful collaboration with LinkedIn and Charities Institute Ireland, the Impact Salon: "Preparing Your Workforce for the Future" took center stage, offering a platform for insightful discussions.

This engaging event was meticulously crafted to address the seismic shifts in the world of work and the evolving labor market. Key discussion points delved into the changing workplace landscape, emphasizing the importance of a skills-first approach, and fostering collaboration in this transformative journey.

Esteemed panelists, including Áine Myler (CEO, Charities Institute Ireland), Siobhan McKenna (Head of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion at the Public Appointments Service), Jenny Darmody (Editor at Silicon Republic), and Ahmed Fadl (LinkedIn for Nonprofits), brought diverse perspectives to the forefront.

The discussion explored the rapid evolution of the workplace, tackling essential topics such as core skills disruption, hybrid work models, the green transition, and the role of Generative AI. Emphasising the significance of hiring based on skills, the event encouraged a departure from traditional educational backgrounds and previous roles.
