Charities Institute Ireland extends heartfelt wishes to Fionnuala O'Leary as she embarks on a new chapter in her career, taking on the role of CEO at Children's Health Foundation. Fionnuala, who has been an instrumental figure at The Irish Cancer Society (ICS) since 2019, has left an indelible mark on the organisation through her role as Director of Fundraising and Engagement.
During her tenure at ICS, Fionnuala played a pivotal role in fortifying the society's brand and reputation. Her leadership resulted in sustainable growth across fundraising income and the orchestration of the most successful Daffodil Day campaigns in the society's history.
Now, Fionnuala is set to lead Children's Health Foundation, an organisation dedicated to raising essential funds for sick children and their families in CHI hospitals and urgent care centers. Children's Health Foundation, formed in January 2019 supports Crumlin and
Temple Street Children’s Hospitals, National Children’s Hospital Tallaght and Connolly Urgent Care
Centre.
