With over €1 million raised through the official fundraising campaign in 2023, The Irish Life Dublin Marathon are continuing their partnership with Give2you by Eventmaster for 2024. The iconic event’s powerful fundraising integration allows participants to choose a charity to fundraise for at the time of registration, with all donations going to each individual charity in real-time.
With over 3,000 events and 1.5 million tickets sold on the Eventmaster platform annually, the launch of Give2you fundraising integration in 2021 has since seen over €10 million raised for both local and national causes. The simple but powerful integration allows organisers and charities to benefit for free, while giving fundraisers the opportunity to make an instant impact while taking part.
The free platform boasts a range of benefits for charities including real-time reporting and donations being transferred in real-time via Stripe. With the platform also being the official fundraising platform for all Athletics Ireland and Cycling Ireland events, all onboarded charities benefit by being available for fundraising selection in hundreds of events each year across Ireland, including the Irish Life Dublin Marathon.
With participants already registering for the Irish Life Dublin Marathon, both local and national charities are already benefitting from organic fundraising activity. For targeting runners who have not yet chosen a charity, the Eventmaster team will be hosting an informational webinar in January for charities engaging with runner recruitment as well as all other fundraising events.
