Would you like to join Cii's Policy and Research Committee?

Join our Committee to help shape our advocacy campaigns on behalf of members.

Cii advocates on issues that matter to our members, acting as the voice of the professional charity sector.

We are establishing a Policy and Research Committee so members can contribute directly to our policy work and help us design our research projects.

The committee will help frame and develop -

  • Policy positions on topics like regulation, funding, governance and legislation.
  • Annual Budget Submissions and election campaigns
  • Research topics and partnerships to recommend to the Board

Some of the benefits for you in joining our Policy & Research Committee include –

  • Expanding your network - It’s an excellent way to meet like-minded people who share your passion and desire to improve personally and professionally.
  • Acquiring New Knowledge and Skills - Committee work allows you to gain knowledge and skills outside your own role or organisation. Learn from colleagues and hear about different points of view
  • Demonstrating Leadership - by providing your time, knowledge, and skills, you are contributing to the growth and future success of our organisation in a strategic way.

This is a call to action for people with policy, communications or research experience to join our Committee to help shape our advocacy campaigns on behalf of members. We hope to hold our first meeting in September.
