Ecclesiastical Insurance announces beneficiaries of the Movement for Good Awards second draw 

Ecclesiastical Insurance Ireland, through its parent company Benefact Group, is sharing in the giving of over €1million this year to charities through its Movement for Good awards. Members of the public were invited to nominate causes close to their hearts, with 250 awards of €1,000 available for donation at this time. The charities who received the donation, were picked at random from those nominated.   

The local charities set to benefit from the money following overwhelming public support, include: 

• BUMBLEance (The Saoirse Foundation) from Co Kerry 
• TNR West Dublin from Co Dublin 
• Galway Society For The Prevention Of Cruelty To Animals from Co Galway 
• Wexford Marinewatch from Co Wexford 
• Ten Lives Cat Rescue from Co Wexford 
• Dundalk Dog Rescue from Co Louth 

The third draw will take place in December – where Ecclesiastical and the Benefact Group will be sharing over €120,000 across 120 charities, in 12 days. One draw will take place every working day between 1st of December and the 16th of December, and the charities will be selected from those that have been nominated by the public.
