Our commitment is clear: we are here to deliver outstanding results for your charity. So why should you use us:

  • As Ireland's biggest fundraising platform, GoFundMe boasts 81% aided brand recognition.
  • Since the introduction of our certified charity product in Ireland, GoFundMe has facilitated the donation of over €15 million to Irish charities.
  • Our platform has been designed to enhance the fundraising experience for organisers
  • Charity representatives  can sign up to access comprehensive donor and fundraiser data on GoFundMe.com.

We are also working on something new: GoFundMe is creating a tool which will empower communities across the country to give help in a fast, easy way. And it’s not here to patch up the hole that Meta leaves. It’s here to create something better.

Alongside partners Social Sync, we recently tested a challenge for the MND Association. The Run 25 Miles in December tested a whole new way of running social fundraising campaigns. The month after the challenge finished, the MND Association's organic activity on our platform was up 155%. This exciting new innovation from GoFundMe and Social Sync looks set to open up the world of social fundraising to thousands of new supporters in 2024.

Soon, we will launch a product to organise new types of social fundraising campaigns at the touch of a button with the Social Sync and GoFundMe direct integration. This exciting new integration will allow charities to create automated multi-channel stewardship journeys for their GoFundMe supporters, increasing engagement and income from their campaigns.

While we develop, we’d love to tell you more about how GoFundMe works.

What are the advantages of using GoFundMe for charity fundraising?

  • Seamless Transactions: There's no need for organisers to manage fund transfers; everything is handled automatically.
  • Security: Each fundraiser is set up to directly support a chosen charity, ensuring organisers have no access to the funds. Donor confidence is bolstered by visible charity details and a verification badge on each fundraising page.
  • Simplified Process: All funds raised are directly transferred to PayPal Giving Fund for processing and delivery to charities, eliminating the need for withdrawal setups.
  • No Refund Risks: Automatic fund transfers mean there is no risk of refunds.
  • Lower Fees: With reduced fees, a greater portion of donations goes directly to your charity.
  • Detailed Reporting: Charities can access detailed payout reports through their PayPal accounts and download donor and fundraiser data from their GoFundMe charity profiles.

To maximise your fundraising potential, our team of crowdfunding experts has developed a suite of resources to support your campaigns. We pride ourselves on creating a platform that is not only effective but also enjoyable for consumers. Plus, our dedicated customer support team is available seven days a week, so assistance is always at hand whenever you need it.

In this new landscape, as charities look for robust and user-friendly fundraising alternatives, GoFundMe is here to empower your cause and help you thrive.
