World Brain Day is on July 22 of every year. This day brings global attention to the importance of maintaining brain health across all ages, an increasingly significant health issue, especially in our modern age. It encourages everyone, from children to older adults, to adopt habits, support research, and reduce stigma around neurological conditions. Acquired brain injury is a hidden phenomenon in Ireland and neuro-rehabilitation is vital for brain injury survivors. Our goal at Acquired Brain Injury Ireland is to constantly advocate for brain injury survivors and raise awareness. On World Brain Day, we spread awareness about the importance of brain health for everyone, including acquired brain injuries.
