The nonprofit sector in Ireland faces unique recruitment hurdles, from budget constraints to the challenges of competing with the commercial and public sector. This session is designed to move away from standard webinars on different recruitment and talent management topics to provide a dedicated space for Cii members to troubleshoot their specific bottlenecks.
Facilitated by Fergal O’Sullivan, Senior Associate Consultant with CCI Executive Search, we will dive into as many areas as we can from the members’ list of challenges, such as the anatomy of a great job description, mastering the art of the interview, and identifying where your process might be "leaking" great candidates.

About the facilitator:
Fergal is Senior Associate Consultant with CCI Executive Search, a leading non-profit sector recruitment consultancy, where he manages senior recruitment campaigns and plays a key role in client and sector engagement.
Fergal O’Sullivan has over 25 years of management experience in both the commercial and nonprofit sector, while he has also spent the last 6 years working on behalf of various nonprofit organisations recruiting at both senior and graduate levels. He also has over 16 years of nonprofit board experience, as past Chairperson of My Legacy and Board Member of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Dublin Youth Dance Company and most recently HIV Ireland, where he was also Chair of their Governance Committee.
Fergal has worked in several leadership roles within the nonprofit sector, including as CEO of the Coeliac Society of Ireland and Boardmatch, Head of Fundraising with Make-A-Wish and NCBI, and has been involved in the development and delivery of strategic plans for several organisations, in both a senior management role and at Board level. In his most recent role before becoming a Consultant, Fergal successfully managed the recruitment of over 120 senior leadership positions for nonprofits across Ireland and the core of his role with CCI Executive Search is a continuation of this work.
