The Major Gift and Legacy forum is a network of philanthropy professionals working with individuals in Ireland and overseas who want to make a significant impact on Irish society. We welcome those from small and large charities alike.
The forum was created to support open dialogue and sharing throughout our members’ experiences in working with HNWI’s and legacy administrators in an effort to develop best practices throughout the sector.
Our meetings are a safe and respectful place to share insights and tips, and given the sometimes sensitive nature of our discussions, we would like Chatham House Rules to apply.

Agenda
Sinead Christian has over 20 years experience in Marketing, Communications and Fundraising. Prior to joining the sector she worked in Design and Marketing Roles at Waterford Crystal and Ladbrokes. She also believes her first job while at college in a toy shop gave her so many of the skills she carried with her.
She has led campaigns and developed teams at Irish Wheelchair Association, Debra, Trocaire and Make A Wish. She believes that no matter the size of the charity - successful outcomes and campaigns come from a combination of excellence in research, process improvement, strong cases and storytelling, and most importantly understanding your donors.. Sinead will share some insights into her journey and what she learnt along the way.
