Our Connacht Fundraisers Network is a space for connection, learning and practical insight for fundraisers across the region. We’re delighted to welcome Justin McDermott, Fundraising Manager at Jigsaw – The National Centre for Youth Mental Health, as the featured contributor for our upcoming session.
Justin is a multi award-winning, qualified fundraising and communications professional with more than 20 years’ experience working locally, nationally and internationally. With over 12 years in senior fundraising and communications leadership, he brings a deep understanding of what it takes to build resilient income streams, cultivate meaningful supporter relationships, and lead teams through both growth and change.
Throughout his career, Justin has developed and successfully implemented fundraising strategies across the full fundraising mix. His track record includes consistently achieving – and exceeding – income targets; creating innovative, high-impact campaigns; and raising public awareness while strengthening engagement with community, philanthropic and corporate partners.
At our next Connacht Fundraisers Network meeting, Justin will lead an open and practical discussion, drawing on his extensive experience to share real-world insights, challenges, and lessons learned from across his fundraising career.
This session promises to be an energising opportunity for fundraisers of all levels to learn, reflect, and connect with peers across the West.
