International Epilepsy Day is a major epilepsy awareness day and is a day in which Epilepsy Ireland aim to educate the wider Irish public about a condition which affects over 45,000 people in Ireland. Epilepsy Ireland also encourage people with epilepsy to share their stories of living with the condition on media to help the wider public better understand what life with epilepsy can be like.
