What is Cii’s Charity Hack?
Charity Hack is a single-day event where 5 charities (Hackees) present challenges or problems they are encountering. These issues are tackled by a group of volunteer experts (Hackers) with the aim of providing the organisation with solutions, guidance, and a refreshed sense of confidence to take their mission to new heights. To be considered for the hack, click below and submit your organisation's details.
We will invite 5 charities (Hackees) present challenges or problems they are encountering in the following areas:
Fundraising
Board Recruitment / Governance
HR - Recruitment / Retention
Campaigning and Advocacy
These issues are tackled by a group of volunteer experts (Hackers) with the aim of providing the organisation with solutions, guidance, and a refreshed sense of confidence to take their mission to new heights.
The event, which aims to generate innovative solutions for charities, is facilitated by Kevin Delaney from the Academy Street Workshop,. Kevin will bring his expertise to inspire and energize participants.

Would you like to be a Hacker?
At Charity Hack, volunteer Hackers are the backbone of the event. Each participating charity will receive a dedicated team of 4-6 expert volunteers who will focus solely on solving their specific problem. We are seeking individuals who are passionate, skilled, and willing to devote their full energy and talent to the organisation they are assigned to for the duration of the event. Our ideal team of Hackers comprises fundraisers, leaders, marketers, strategists, project managers, designers, and other professionals with diverse expertise.
