An essential skill for fundraisers is the ability to talk to donors who are bereaved. It is a situation fundraisers can find themselves in regularly or occasionally regardless of their charity.
For many of us, the interaction with families and friends of the deceased can seem scary!
This webinar has been developed exclusively for fundraisers by Charities Institute Ireland in partnership with The Irish Hospice Foundation.
It will show attendees how to communicate with people who are bereaved, but also give them the confidence to know that it is OK to talk about the deceased and about fundraising.

About the speaker:
Breffni McGuinness is the Bereavement Services Training and Development Manager with The Irish Hospice Foundation. He is a professional Dramatherapist with a background in pastoral care, and runs bereavement support groups based on the creative arts. He has developed eLearning courses on bereavement support as well as workplace guides on bereavement policies and providing support after suicide. His special interests are in workplace bereavement, hidden losses and the use of creativity in working with people who are grieving.
