From 2025, employers with more than 50 employees must commence reporting their gender pay gap metrics and explanations. Affected companies must pick a snapshot date in June, look back over the preceding 12 months, and publish up to 20 gender pay gap metrics. These include the mean and median differences between male and female employees on hourly remuneration and bonuses.
The publication must include an accompanying narrative that specifies why an organisation has a gender pay gap and what it plans to do to address it. Reports must be published at latest in November – a shorter timeline than has previously applied.
