The Face to Face Fundraising forum is a peer to peer network, focused on direct recruitment fundraising including street and door. We will discuss and challenge each other on best practice, share our current difficulties/successes in the market plus we will revue data and the user experience inside the Street & Door Diary Local Management System (LMS). We also aim to provide the platform for open communications between charities and third party agencies conducting face to face fundraising so all users of the LMS are working towards best practice.
Everybody is welcome, whether you are new to your role or have years of experience. This forum is a safe space to exchange ideas and insights, share highs and lows, and grow your network.
As the saying goes – “One good conversation can shift the direction of change forever”…Linda Lambert
F2F Forum Agenda 15th May 2025
11:40: Introductions: Co-Chairs and Forum plans & structure
11:50: Guest Speaker: The award winning Caroline Mason, Senior F2F Fundraising Manager at RNLI
Caroline's career began as Event Manager at gradireland, where she managed large-scale exhibitions and events, before transitioning to the RNLI to establish their Corporate Partnerships function in Ireland.
In 2011, driven by a passion for travel, Caroline moved to Western Australia to head up the corporate and community fundraising teams for a children's cancer charity, overseeing operations across three states. In this role, she managed multi-year partnerships and a diverse range of high-profile fundraising events—including an unforgettable adventure driving a 4x4 across the Australian outback for a vintage motor rally.
Upon returning to Ireland in 2014, Caroline rejoined the RNLI to co-lead the organisation's in-house Face-to-Face (F2F) team. Since then, Caroline has been an integral part of the senior management team, guiding one of the largest in-house F2F fundraising operations in the UK and Ireland. Under her leadership, the team has grown fourfold, playing a pivotal role in both fundraising and operational departments at the RNLI.
Caroline is passionate about the F2F sector as a sustainable revenue channel for organisations. She strongly believes that by working together, the sector can become a standout model for fundraising excellence.
Caroline’s work was rewarded last year in the UK when her campaign won Individual Giving Campaign of the Year 2024 (Chartered Institute of Fundraising - Individual Giving Campaign of the Year winner)
