Join Luke Dixon, Country Lead for Ireland at Enthuse and Joanne Pretsell, Community Fundraising Manager at the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Ireland, as they discuss RMHC’s annual fundraising event “Cycle the Lakes” - a biking challenge where supporters can choose between a 25 km, 50 km or a rigorous 100 km cycle through the Blessington lakes, Co. Wicklow. 

With 2023’s event due to take place in June,  last year’s event raised an incredible €50,000 - which directly helped 20 families using RMHC’s vital services. 

In their online session, Luke and Joanne will be discussing how RMHC Ireland plan the annual cycling event, their biggest learnings from their portfolio of events from the last year, and their fundraising plans going forward into the second half of 2023. 

From this session, attendees can expect to learn about:

• How best to streamline event registration and fundraising to ensure maximum uptake from supporters
• How to engage with fundraisers in different types of campaigns and innovative events - from cycling to abseiling!
• Their top tips for other charities interested in planning similar campaigns, including how to establish long-term relationship with both corporate sponsors and supporters through annual events

There will then be a Q&A session, so that Luke and Joanne can answer any questions attendees may have.
