Face to Face Fundraising Forum
The Face-to-Face Fundraising Forum is a peer network for fundraisers working in individual giving, with a focus on face-to-face recruitment through street and door fundraising. This forum is a supportive space for fundraisers to share experiences, discuss challenges and successes, and explore best practices together.
A key part of the forum is peer support—whether you’re new to face-to-face fundraising or bring years of experience, this is a space to exchange ideas, troubleshoot common issues, and learn from one another. We discuss everything from team motivation and donor engagement to navigating public perceptions and maintaining high ethical standards.
The forum also provides an opportunity to review sector trends, share insights on fundraising performance, and ensure that face-to-face fundraising remains sustainable and effective. While we will discuss tools like the Street & Door Diary for coordination, the primary focus is on supporting fundraisers in their day-to-day roles.
As the saying goes: “One good conversation can shift the direction of change forever.” – Linda Lambert
We look forward to welcoming you to the next forum!

I am an expert in face-to-face fundraising, with a proven track record in developing and executing strategies across multiple markets and channels. I have been responsible for driving engagement in brand recognition and revenue within a customer-focused environment, and I possess extensive experience leading teams of all sizes to success.
I established and managed the longest-running in-house operation at scale in Ireland for Concern Worldwide, growing the regular giving file from 15,000 to over 100,000 active supporters. I had overall responsibility for the operational infrastructure of the business unit, including managing a team of up to 120 employees across multiple jurisdictions. I also led market entry for face-to-face fundraising in several regions, including the UK and South Korea, and provided training for both in-house and contracted agencies on methodology, principles, and techniques.
I have held non-executive director positions in regulatory organisations, where I chaired the standards and compliance committee. As an advocate for best practices in the sector, I have been actively involved in founding and supporting regulation groups in Ireland and internationally to uphold the quality and integrity of the face-to-face recruitment channel.

I’m a passionate and creative Fundraising and Marketing professional with over 15 years of experience in the non-profit and event sectors. With an academic background in Psychology and Human Rights, I’ve built a strong fundraising profile by forging meaningful connections between donors and the causes they support. I’m constantly inspired by the incredible impact that great fundraising can have—not just for charities but also for donors.
As the Fundraising and Marketing Officer on Trócaire’s award-winning Fundraising Team, I lead multi-channel Regular Giving and Tax Efficient Giving campaigns across Ireland and Northern Ireland, driving donor recruitment, retention, brand awareness, and engagement. I have extensive experience delivering Face-to-face, DRTV, Telemarketing, and Direct Marketing campaigns across the island of Ireland, collaborating with external agencies to align with our strategic goals and vision.
I specialise in developing and executing international humanitarian and emergency response appeals, with a track record of delivering some of our organisation's highest-performing DRTV and Face-to-face campaigns. Over the past six years, I’ve trained and coached multiple teams of F2F and Telemarketing fundraisers across Irish and UK-contracted agencies, ensuring high standards of excellence, representation, safeguarding, and compliance within the charity sector.
