About Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland (AADI)

Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland is a national charity dedicated to transforming the lives of autistic children and their families. Our assistance dog programme fosters independence, inclusion and safety, providing invaluable support and life-changing outcomes.

 

Role Overview

We are now seeking a passionate and proactive Corporate Partnerships & Events Executive to join our growing fundraising team. This new role will focus on securing and managing core-level corporate partnerships while supporting the planning and delivery of impactful regional fundraising events.

The postholder will also work closely with the Volunteer Coordinator to ensure the effective involvement, engagement and stewardship of community volunteers in regional fundraising activities.

This is a relationship-driven role which will sit at the heart of our Corporate and Community fundraising activity and will require close collaboration across the fundraising and communications teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Partnerships (Primary Focus)

  • Support the acquisition and conversion of new core-level corporate partners.
  • Manage and steward existing corporate partnerships, ensuring delivery of agreed benefits and retention.
  • Prepare partnership proposals, presentations and stewardship reports.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Fundraising Lead and Communications team to align corporate stewardship and recognition.

Events and Community Fundraising

  • Support the planning, promotion and delivery of AADI-led regional fundraising events.
  • Ensure corporate partners are integrated into relevant regional events and activations.
  • Build strong relationships with local community groups and supporters.
  • Work closely with the Volunteer Coordinator to plan for volunteer involvement and ensure excellent volunteer experiences during events.
  • Ensure seamless, engaging and impactful event delivery for all participants and stakeholders.

Collaboration and Teamwork

  • Work closely with the Corporate Partnerships & Philanthropy Manager to deliver partnership strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Fundraising Lead to align donor and supporter journeys.
  • Support broader fundraising campaigns and cross-team initiatives as required.

 

Key Skills & Experience

Essential

  • 2+ years' experience in fundraising, corporate partnerships, events or relationship management.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects and events successfully.
  • Highly organised and administratively strong.
  • Passion for the non-profit sector and commitment to AADI's mission.
  • Full clean drivers licence.

Desirable

  • Experience in corporate fundraising or account management.
  • Experience in planning and delivering events (paid or voluntary).
  • Familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Experience working with or alongside volunteers is an advantage.
