Job Title: Community Development Coordinator
Contract Type: Permanent
Locations: Hybrid Approach with a minimum of 2 days per week at MDI National Office, 75 Lucan Road, Chapelizod, Dublin 20
Salary: €35-45K
Hours: 8-hour day, 40 hours per week, one hour paid break. Some evening and weekend work will be required during fundraising events or campaigns.

Role Description:
MDI has a strong community fundraising model. Families, friends, neighbours, and colleagues donate their time and energy to raise funds to support MDI services and research. MDI is seeking a strong community advocate to work with these ambassadors (families, friends, colleagues) and ensure adequate support for their individual fundraising events. Through this support, you will play a crucial role in supporting our organisation's engagement strategies, as well as developing our membership structures and community-building activities.
This position offers an opportunity for individuals interested in developing their experience in the non-profit sector while contributing to the overall mission of MDI. You will work closely with the CEO, the Services Team and the Finance Team to execute various tasks aimed at increasing member engagement, raising funds and awareness of MDI, and promoting our services and initiatives, including our bursary programmes designed to provide practical support to individuals with neuromuscular conditions.
