Marketing Manager

Location: Remote/Hybrid (Ireland) 
 

This is a senior marketing role which will work closely with the Head of Growth and digital teams. You will be responsible for driving the end-to-end marketing strategy across both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) channels. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, and Customer Success, to develop data-driven marketing campaigns that fuel customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. Your expertise in commercial marketing will help maximise the impact of all brand development and lead generation activities for both the charity fundraising business and crowd funding.

About the Role: 

A new marketing strategy has been developed to support the development of a new strategy for growth with a particular focus on crowdfunding and increasing brand awareness.  With a tactical goal of delivering more top of funnel leads and interest in crowdfunders you will help to grow a community, extend reach and help crowdfunders to enhance their fundraising through supporting along their journey. This will involve a mix of traditional marketing and digital marketing strategy management, with some integrated PR and sponsorship activities.

Additionally, you will develop and execute marketing strategies to ensure iDonate is the go-to platform for charities planning fundraisers, working closely with the Head of Growth and the iDonate team.

Key Responsibilities: 

Marketing Strategy:  Implementation and evolution of the marketing strategy for iDonate. Establishing pilots, test and learn strategies to include AB testing, Google Ads / sponsored links (SEO), roll out of social media strategy and on page content that aligns with the overall Hearts, Hands, Minds framework to drive crowdfunding marketing forward.  Delivering growth in reach, consideration and lead management strategy.

Campaign Management: Lead the creation, execution, and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, content, email, events, social, etc.) aimed at generating leads, driving sales, and enhancing customer loyalty.

Brand Development: Leverage the brand communications platform to build brand awareness with target audiences based on the recent marketing review and insights.  Creation of a new communications plan, that builds on the recent review and develops a plan of priorities for 2025.  Develop a suite of brand assets to ensure the B2B and B2C offerings are aligned, to maximise the strength of the current brand, and enhance awareness and consideration for Crowdfunders as well as maintaining the positive brand image with charities.  

Strategic partnerships and PR/Sponsorship management: Developing partnerships and strategic brand development campaigns including radio and PR or promotional activities to drive business success. 

Content Strategy: Oversee the creation of compelling content that resonates with decision-makers in B2B segments as well as end-users in B2C. This includes case studies, whitepapers, blog posts, webinars, product demos, and more. This should be based on the overarching marketing strategy and align with the positioning.

Performance Analysis: Track and analyse the performance of all marketing efforts, using data-driven insights to adjust strategies and optimise ROI. Regularly report on KPIs and key business metrics.

Marketing and Fundraising Communications: Development of a suite of digital supports, and assets to foster greater conversion, lead generation, and to grow fundraising success of all clients.  Development and delivery of suite of assets for charities.  Blogging and authoritative content development.

Client Success: Roll out segmented email marketing communications to enhance client success and commercial value per client

You will report to the Head of Growth monthly on progress and activities.

Skills & Experience Required: 

  • Proven experience in digital and commercial marketing ideally within the nonprofit or technology sector. 
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to analyse reports, identify key trends and opportunities and create actionable plans. Experienced and knowledgeable in all marketing channels, and tech-stack related to social, digital, and traditional media
  • Proven ability to generate income through commercial and digital marketing activities. Creative and data-led approach to marketing success.
  • Works well in a team and demonstrates self-leadership skills along with the ability to manage budgets, and internal stakeholders, and outsource partners to maximise success.
  • Strong IT skills, the ability to understand the technologies used on the platform and in the day-to-day business operations. An understanding of ERP and CRM systems is an advantage.
