Title: National Fundraising Campaigns Officer
Reports to: National Fundraising Campaigns Manager
Contract type: Specified purpose contract (maternity leave cover)
Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week) Mon - Fri 9am to 5pm with time flexibility including evening & weekend work required.
Location: The Society operates a hybrid working model with a combination of remote and in-person (Dublin office) working
Office attendance days are Wednesday & Thursday
Salary: €45,000 per annum

Our National Campaigns team is responsible for leading some of Ireland's biggest and most inspiring fundraising campaigns and programmes such as our flagship Daffodil Day, breast cancer awareness campaign, or Relay for Life.
What you'll do
As National Fundraising Campaigns Officer you will work collaboratively within our fundraising department, and beyond, to develop, deliver and market national fundraising campaigns to raise awareness, raise funds and help achieve the Irish Cancer Society's vision.

In this role you will be responsible for:
National fundraising campaigns development support
Supporter, volunteer and stakeholder relationships
Planning and coordination
Analysis and reporting
Content development and marketing
Who you are
You will have:
Your qualifications and experience
· You will typically have c. 3 years' of experience in campaigns or fundraising.
· The Society measures experience based on the quality of the experience obtained, rather than in time passed and welcomes applicants at all stages of their career.
· You will be tech savvy with experience in database and CRM systems, and across the Microsoft Office suite. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage.
General
· All employees are required to be aware of their responsibilities towards health and safety and to adhere to fire regulations.
· The Irish Cancer Society operates a no-smoking policy and the post holder must not smoke in the office or when on Society business outside the office.
· Maintain confidentiality at all times, and compliance with the Data Protection Act is an essential requirement.
