The Opportunity

You will be part of a creative and dynamic team, where the importance of campaigning for lasting change on issues like Climate Justice and Gaza are front and centre. You will have responsibility for delivering high quality, impactful, creative and attention-grabbing campaigning activities. You will mobilise support for Trócaire's campaigns for Global Justice and Human Rights, and motivate people to take action to influence our political representatives. You will help build committed and deep activism in the Republic of Ireland, and support the building of effective movements for change, both offline and online.

Trócaire is an International NGO. We work with local partners in the world's most at-risk communities and with people in Ireland to tackle the underlying causes of poverty and injustice and respond to the crises they create. Together we bring about positive and lasting change for a just world. 

Trócaire works in up to 20 countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. We work towards five goals:  

 

•         Promote Access to Justice and Human Rights;  

•         Achieve Climate & Environmental Justice;

You will report to the Campaigns and Digital Outreach Manager.The job opportunity will be offered on a Specific Purpose contract for 14 months and is based in Maynooth.

We'd love if you have at least

2 years' experience in delivering high-quality campaigning outreach that has inspired audiences to take action, and experience mobilising people to take action in support of campaigns for political change. We'd love if you have experience in producing materials for publication and an understanding of engaging different target audiences, both online and offline.
