About the Role

Job Purpose: Direct and Digital Marketing Executive is a key role within Individual Giving Team with responsibility for managing a variety of donor recruitment and marketing campaigns in order to maintain and grow income from individuals. The role has a strong focus on donor care, data processing and income delivery.

Salary: €37,338 – €43,927

Contract Type: Permanent, full-time

Job Location: Our offices are based on Nassau St., Dublin 2. We have a hybrid work model in place (a minimum requirement of 2 days a week in the office).

Reporting to: Individual Giving Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Project manage the delivery of IHF mailing schedule, including donor care newsletters, donor acquisition and development appeals
  • Manage third party suppliers (agencies, printers, etc.) to ensure projects are rolled out on time and within budget
  • Manage the acknowledgment process, ensuring IHF fundraising database is kept accurate at all times
  • Generate results (response rate, average gift, ROI etc.) and an end of campaign report with recommendations to maximise the income of future campaigns
  • Work closely with the Individual Giving Manager to target individuals appropriately and manage data selections according to campaign
  • Project manage the delivery of IHF digital fundraising campaigns (Facebook Birthday and In Memory Fundraisers)
  • Project manage the rollout of IHF annual tax back appeal
  • Assist the Individual Giving Manager in the rollout of IHF legacy giving programme
  • Work with the Digital Fundraising Co-ordinator on all online advertisements and social media communications
  • Manage all email communications to donors
  • Any other tasks as may be assigned by the manager or designated person.

 

Qualifications and Experience

IHF is open to applications from candidates who have experience in most but not all of the following areas. The successful candidate will be supported through their induction to increase their knowledge and ability to deliver on the responsibilities outlined here. Further training and ongoing support will be available.


Essential:

  •  Minimum of 2 years' experience in individual giving, direct marketing and/or similar income streams and proven track record of achieving targets
  • 3rd level qualification preferably in marketing, communications or related areas
  • Ability to work to agreed financial targets and budgets  
  • Ability to work to deadlines and to manage several campaigns/appeals simultaneously     
  • A working knowledge or experience of GDPR  
  • An understanding of best practices for donor retention and recruitment
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good working knowledge of fundraising CRM systems – IHF uses Raiser's Edge NXT
  • Excellent organisational, administration and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Excellent attention to detail  
  • Enthusiastic, warm and friendly manner

 

Desirable:

  • Experience in digital and/or online fundraising
  • Experience in using digital marketing platforms such as Mail Chimp and Vertical Reponses
  • Good working knowledge of design software (Canva, Adobe)
