Donor Engagement Manager

Permanent Contract, 39 hours

Park West, Dublin

 

Job Purpose

To oversee, deliver and work to maximise income from individuals to support the work of the Rehab Group – working closely with the Head of Fundraising and wider team to ensure individual giving and fundraising activity is embedded and aligned with the strategic plans and objectives of Rehab Group. This will involve developing and expanding our reach and to provide our donors and potential donors with a first-class donor experience.

 

Minimum Education & Skills Required

  • 4+ years proven experience and a successful track record at a senior level in fundraising with substantial experience in donor care marketing.
  • Experience of delivering income growth from individuals, through direct marketing, tax-efficient giving, legacies, and online giving.
  • Educated to degree level in business, marketing, sales or a related discipline.
  • Experience of managing a donor care team and delivering a first-class donor care experience to supporters.

 

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of Rehab's individual giving programme, including direct marketing, regular giving, supporter communications, tax-back campaigns, legacies and online income.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of an individual giving strategy that will leverage all available channels to target and engage the general public, to maximise supporter and prospect acquisition to Rehab Group, ensuring that we maximise our networks to drive income and wider opportunities for the charity.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the end-to-end process for how to deliver Legacy and In Memory activity is designed and documented with all team members working efficiently and understanding their roles and responsibilities.
  • Retain and steward donors through meaningful and inspiring donor journeys via PPC Google Adwords, EDM, Direct marketing and telemarketing.

 

Additional Requirements

  • Experience of developing marketing collateral/newsletters for acquiring and retaining donors and to demonstrate the impact of their support and to keep them engaged and informed of Rehab Group's activities. Experience in Digital marketing would be a direct advantage.
  • A very good understanding and technical knowledge of CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, Raiser's Edge or similar.
  • Willingness to travel and work irregular office hours from time to time, such as for an evening event, weekends or attend breakfast meetings.
  • Access to a car / full clean, driving license (desirable).
