Contract: Full-time, Permanent contract

The purpose of this role is to deliver Focus Ireland's ambitious Corporate Fundraising Strategy. This role requires high level account management of some of Focus Ireland s largest corporate partners, delivering on key strategic goals, including the delivery of significant income growth from new and existing long-term corporate partnerships. 

What you will do:

  • Achieve ambitious fundraising targets through a strategic, process-driven approach.
  • Develop, manage, and nurture relationships with existing high-level corporate partners to secure partnership renewals and increase levels of engagement and giving.
  • Manage a portfolio of 5-8 current high-value corporate partners, multitasking efficiently.
  • Maintain the quality of key information in the donor database to ensure accurate reporting on activities for ongoing partnership development and effective moves management.
  • Deliver strategic partnership presentations and pitches to corporate audiences of various sizes.
  • Ensure timely completion of all donor-facing materials with a focus on high quality and accuracy.
  • Identify and engage in business development opportunities, networking, and engagement activities.
  • Conduct research on new prospects and develop high-quality bespoke pitches, proposals, applications, and concepts for securing new large-scale partnerships.
  • Collaborate with middle and senior management teams to prepare for donor meetings and events.
  • Ensure strict adherence to conversion rates and income target achievements.
  • Work collaboratively with the Campaigns Team to enhance the experience of Focus Ireland's major campaigns - Shine A Light and Sponsor A Star - maximizing opportunities for cultivating C-suite relationships and corporate supporters.
  • Compile and share detailed reports and performance analysis, identifying areas for leverage and opportunity.
  • Attend events and conferences to elevate Focus Ireland's profile within the corporate sector and identify opportunities to present the organisation's work to prospective and existing donors.
  • Act as an ambassador of Focus Ireland in donor meetings, conferences, events, networking opportunities, and seminars as needed.
  • Demonstrate creativity, drive, dynamism, commitment, attention to detail, and best practices in all activities.
  • Ensure compliance with charities regulation, data protection acts, governance, and best practices.

What you will need:

  • Possess 2+ years of relevant experience with a proven track record of securing high-level multi-annual corporate donations.
  • Demonstrate strong relationship development skills and proven project and event management expertise.
  • Exhibit the ability to work both as a key team member and proactively on an individual basis.
  • Work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Possess excellent relationship management skills with proven experience in account/customer/donor management.
  • Show proven experience in stewardship and developing new business.
  • Work effectively in a target-driven environment and deliver on allocated targets.
  • Display excellent presentation, written and verbal communication, and organisational skills.
  • Demonstrate strong business and commercial acumen.
  • Ability to work independently and identify opportunities.
  • Possess flexibility, innovation, initiative, and a growth mindset.
