Cystic Fibrosis Ireland has an exciting Job opportunity with the role of Member Services & Advocacy Senior Coordinator

 Who we are

CF Ireland (CFI) is a voluntary organisation that was established in 1963 to improve the treatment and facilities for people with Cystic Fibrosis in Ireland. CF Ireland also co-operates with medical professionals to give maximum assistance to both parents and children/adults with Cystic Fibrosis.

We are supported by fundraising and voluntary contributions and are solely concerned with the well-being of people with Cystic Fibrosis.  

Mission Statement:

To assist the development of the means to cure and control Cystic Fibrosis (CF), to promote the interests and welfare of persons with Cystic Fibrosis in Ireland and to assume advocacy for them and their needs resultant from their having Cystic Fibrosis (CF). 

The Role

The Members Services & Advocacy Senior Coordinator, will provide leadership and support to the member services team. They will be responsible for the ongoing successful delivery of support services to our members, providing information on grant supports by CFI and guiding members on their rights and entitlements. They will support national advocacy campaigns and policy submissions. They will continue to develop the services provided by CFI to its members. The role will be a combination of service delivery and management duties.

Overall, the Member Services & Advocacy Senior Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting and advocating for members of Cystic Fibrosis Ireland, ensuring they have access to the services and supports they need.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in social work, public health, or a related field, with experience in supporting individuals and families facing health challenges. They will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by individuals living with cystic fibrosis.

Salary & Key benefits

A salary of €50,000 is offered, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Location: Hybrid. Our head office is in Rathmines, Dublin and we are currently on a hybrid basis with time to be spent working remotely and at our national office.

Contract:  This position is a permanent, full time role (35 hours per week)
