Location: This role can be based anywhere in the country as long as you are flexible to travel nationwide as required and to head office on approximately a bi-monthly basis.
ABOUT CRITICAL
CRITICAL is Ireland's biggest Critical Care & Advanced Volunteer Doctor Emergency Medicine Response Charity, providing pre-hospital emergency care to critically ill and injured patients in their local communities in both rural and urban areas in Ireland. CRITICAL also trains communities so that they can take immediate action in an emergency, giving them peace of mind.
The charity was established in 2009 as Irish Community Rapid Response and in 2019 it successfully launched Ireland's first and only charity Air Ambulance. In 2023 it changed its name to CRITICAL. It is now focused on expanding its network of Volunteer Emergency Medical Responders and CRITICAL Community First Responders across Ireland.
CRITICAL's Vison is an Ireland where communities and those living in them have equal opportunities to receive a rapid emergency medical response in the event of a medical emergency, an injury, accident or trauma.
ABOUT THE ROLE
CRITICAL are now seeking a talented Community & Events Fundraiser to join their team. This is an exciting role for an energetic, proactive and motivated individual, looking to make their mark and take the next step in their fundraising career working as part of a small but mighty team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and establishment of CRITICAL's community and events fundraising programme, growing a strong volunteer network and building long-term relationships with volunteer fundraisers.
The Community & Events Fundraiser will manage the delivery of a range of events and activities to create a sustainable income stream for the charity. They will establish and deliver excellent supporter care and stewardship to nurture strong relationships with supporters and event participants with the aim of turning them into long-term supporters of CRITICAL's work.
This is a rare opportunity to get in at the ground floor and play a lead part in shaping and developing a national charity's community fundraising strategy. If you are a creative, energetic community fundraiser with strong event coordination experience and excellent relationship-building skills who is comfortable working on your own initiative and looking to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you!
