JOB TITLE: Database Intern DEPARTMENT: Ireland HOURS: 35 hours per week REPORTS TO (JOB TITLE):Data Analyst LOCATION: 9 Baggot Street Upper, Dublin 4, Ireland DURATION: Six month Internship SALARY GRADE: Intern Salary: €13.85 per hour START DATE: ASAP The Database Intern will support the Data Analyst who is responsible for managing MSF Ireland's CRM database, providing comprehensive data support for all our fundraising activities and for the management of supporter care to MSF's supporters. They will enhance fundraising performance through the accurate capturing of data, data mining and segmentation, and the analysis of trends and campaign performance - making recommendations where necessary. The successful candidate will play a key role in the effective implementation of MSF's donor recruitment and development programmes across multiple fundraising channels. · Experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM database systems. · Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a data management. · A proven track record in database systems' management. · Experience of using ETL Tools (SSIS Preferred). · Good knowledge of SQL with the ability to run queries to extract data. · Experience in building dashboards and data models using Power BI. · An excellent level of numeracy combined with accuracy and an attention to detail in data processing. · A proven understanding of the principles of direct marketing and the relationship to a CRM database. · Proven experience of providing data analysis to support decision making in fundraising investment. · Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Excel to an intermediate level including the ability to produce and manipulate data to inform Fundraising activities. · Experience of gathering data from various sources and producing reports.
