Reporting to: Fundraising Manager
Liaises with: Fundraising team, most especially: Fundraising Executive Events + Digital Fundraising Executive Trusts, Foundations and Corporate
Job location: The role will be based at the IHF's offices on Nassau Street, Dublin 2. A hybrid working structure which combines office and home-based work is currently in place.
Job Purpose: As part of our Trusts, Foundations, Retail, Corporate and Events team, to reach set fundraising targets in recognition that this is core income for IHF. The key purpose of this role is to raise funds from digital / online events/activity and build a strategy for future development in these areas in the longer term.
Deliver and support Facebook Challenge/ In Memory events with a view to increasing the number run across a calendar year and increase the number of people taking part and engaging with IHF.
· Work on Facebook Challenge/ In Memory events, including driving targeted advertising, recruitment and moderation of large participant groups.
· Create, place and manage Facebook Fundraising advertisements within agreed budgets and monitor responses, fundraising lead generation returns and so on through our nominated platform, Give Panel.
· Develop themes and incentives for new challenges.
· Develop new digital assets for the fundraising team across varied appeals and campaigns throughout the year.
· Work across departments to maximise effectiveness of campaigns.
· Attend Give Panel Academy sessions and bring learnings to further develop IHF presence in digital events arena.
· Deliver exemplary donor care through engagement with donors, potential supporters and in the prompt processing of donations, administration etc
· Help to maximise the lifetime value from new online donors/ individual supporters.
· Maintain accurate records on our CRM platform (we use Raisers Edge NXT) and run reports by Fundraising Manager and Director of Fundraising as required.
· Research digital platforms and develop strategies for future fundraising potential (Tik Tok, Instagram etc).
· Work within set targets and budgets.
· Work alongside the Fundraising Manager in ensuring offline appeals are supported by digital fundraising activities working towards an ongoing digital strategy.
· Support Fundraising Manager or designated person, as required, in
fundraising and financial administration tasks as required.
· Any other tasks as may be assigned by the manager or designated person
IHF is open to applications from candidates who have experience in most but not all of the following areas. The successful candidate will be supported through their induction to increase their knowledge and ability to deliver on the responsibilities outlined here. Further training and ongoing support will be available.
Essential:
· 2+ years relevant experience in a fundraising team, not-for-profit organisation or related area. We invite applications from other sectors where relevant skill factors can be demonstrated.
· Educated to 3rd level qualification or a proven record of accomplishment of fundraising and/or working to financial targets.
· Experience in digital marketing/fundraising with a strong attention to detail in all aspects of work.
· Ability to work proactively when campaigns and appeals are in “live” phase, including monitoring performance and reacting accordingly.
· Good communication and networking skills with ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with individual and corporate partners, funders and sponsors.
· Excellent organisation, time management and administration skills.
· Ability to work well as part of a busy fundraising team and to work of own initiative when required.
· Excellent computer skills working experience of Microsoft Office.
Desirable:
· Positive, can-do approach and ability to work in a small, busy team.
· Creative, enthusiastic with a proactive approach to all areas of work.
· Highly organised approach to work and ability to deliver tasks within agreed timelines.
· Working knowledge of Raisers Edge NXT or similar CRM.
· An understanding of the work of Irish Hospice Foundation.

This is a full-time permanent contract, reporting to the Fundraising Manager The role will be based at the IHF's offices on Nassau Street, Dublin 2. A hybrid working structure which combines office and home-based work is currently in place in IHF.
The annual gross salary for this role is €38,000 - €45,000 depending on experience.
