Grants & Trusts Deputy Manager
Fundraising & Communications Department - Central Office/Hybrid working
Salary €39,378.24 per annum
Full-Time (35 hours) – Permanent Contract
Role:
Depaul is a values-led organisation working with a number of services throughout the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. In this role, the post holder will manage all areas of grants and trusts income working to achieve set targets.
This is an opportunity for a suitable candidate with fundraising experience to be part of a dynamic and growing team within Depaul.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
· Bring strategic planning and growth to the area of grants & trusts fundraising for Depaul
· To manage Depaul's existing multi-year grants schedule
· To manage all current and develop new key relationships with funders
· To research new grant opportunities in Ireland and Northern Ireland and to explore new markets
· To drive and chair Depaul's Restricted Income Working Group
· To manage all of Depaul's grant & trust applications including completion of applications and reporting to funders as required
· To work with the wider organisation to ensure oversight of grant & trust expenditure. Develop collaborative relationships with Depaul's Services Department, Finance Department and Senior Management Team
· To work as part of the Fundraising Team on the delivery of specific campaigns and projects as they arise
· To prepare quarterly subcommittee reports in the area of Grants & Trusts
· To work towards the Grant & Trust target in both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
· Preparing ad hoc reports when requested.

Person Requirements:
· A third level degree in communications, business/marketing liberal arts or another humanities subject is essential
· Two years fundraising experience in the charity sector, or other comparable and demonstrable experience in a similar role (Essential)
· Well-developed writing and pitching skills
· Advanced Word and PowerPoint skills in addition to experience using a CRM system
· Collaborative, relationship building approach to working with colleagues within own and other departments and externally
· Ability to balance multiple competing work demands, working to tight deadlines
