About the Role of Senior Recruitment Officer (SRO)
CCI is now seeking a Senior Recruitment Officer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work directly with many different organisations in the not-for-profit sector throughout Ireland, to support them to recruit and retain great people. Reporting to the Head of Recruitment the new SRO will work closely with the current team (of three) and with clients and candidates, representing the values, vision, and purpose of CCI with confidence and professionalism.
The core focus of the work of SRO will be to find the most talented, experienced and professional candidates for CCI’s clients. Roles will vary from entry level through to senior management appointments, across a wide variety of clients ranging from health and welfare to arts and education.
This is a varied role and involves everything from liaising with clients, seeing a recruitment process from start to finish, including screening candidates, developing shortlists, coordinating interviews and managing final negotiations to secure new members to our client’s teams. The main priority of CCI is that every candidate and client has an excellent experience from start to finish.
This role will be ideal for a person who understands the not-for-profit sector, is highly organised and has excellent administration skills and has previous experience (2 years +) working in talent management.
General Duties and Responsibilities
Managing recruitment assignments including responding to initial enquiries, screening candidates, filling positions and maintaining good ongoing aftercare relationships with clients.
Delivering an exceptional candidate experience by providing a friendly, professional and supportive service to candidates – keeping them informed of the progress and outcome of their applications, meeting with them to assess their suitability for roles
Working with the CCI team daily, to ensure all work is being managed efficiently and cohesively and a new client pipeline is in place.
Using the CCI CRM to update and access recruitment campaign information.
Attracting candidates through a variety of recruitment methods including bespoke research, advertising, emails, use of recruitment platforms & social media engagement
Using all forms of social media to actively promote CCI Executive Search and the Charity Careers Ireland jobs board.
