Recruiting a Digital Marketing Coordinator to play a key part in the overall Marketing and Fundraising department within Pieta.

The Role: Digital Marketing Coordinator 

Salary: €38,988 per annum

Location: Head Office, Greenhills Road, Dublin 24 – some remote work can be facilitated 

Contract Type: Maternity Cover, 40 hours/ 5 days per week 

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on an amazing brand and to really make a difference. Working closely with the Marketing Director, the Digital Marketing Coordinator will ideally come from a Marketing or Social Media background. The successful candidate will put our clients at the heart of all we do, be a people person and passionate and enthusiastic about our work. You will be a key part of the Marketing and Fundraising effort within Pieta.

Responsibilities: 

  • Campaign Management Working with the wider team and with our Fundraising partners you will deliver Pieta campaigns on our social channels. You will bring these campaigns to life digitally using the agreed tone of voice, timing and delivering campaigns and maintaining, nurturing and growing relationships into the future. Managing large email campaigns using Pardot. Where required training will be given. Experience of GDPR would be useful
  • Community Management & Content Generation You will need to love social and developing communities. It will be important that this candidate can write well for the web and be a whiz at creating and developing communities and content for all the various social media platforms. This will include content generation for blogs, social, video, spotting opportunities and trends
  • Brand As with all on the Marketing team, you will act as guardian of the Pieta Brand and all Brand assets including any sub-brands or campaigns ensuring consistency, quality, and creative excellence. Help to lead the Digital initiatives for Pieta such as the website, eCRM, the community and content creation such as video and blogs
  • Partners/Sponsors Work with agencies, suppliers, partners and the Fundraising team to develop effective award-winning work across all of the customer touch points
  •  
  • Misc. Projects Work on any misc. agreed projects or campaigns as directed by the Marketing Director. These may include Digital, Data, Customer, Campaigns, Events etc. Taking initiative at every turn
  •  
  • Financials – Be responsible for your own budgets on your particular projects and report in on all at agreed intervals to the Marketing Director

Please note: flexibility is key, the successful candidate will be required to work weekends, evenings, and unsociable hours as and when required.

Education, Skills & Experience required: 

  • Third level Marketing degree or equivalent with a minimum 1 year's experience in a marketing agency or busy corporate environment
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders in different areas of the organisation
  • Highly effective problem solver particularly in terms of all things web and digital
  • Strong presentation and communications skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills. Accustomed to managing suppliers and budgets
  • Strong writing skills including tone of voice, storytelling, spelling, grammar and proof-reading
  • Digital marketing skills including eCRM, email campaigns, social media across all platforms and Community building, development of content
  • AdWords, Google analytics, Salesforce, Campaign Monitor, Website management, GDPR experience is desirable
  • Campaign management
  • Be a team player
  • Excellent IT skills particularly MS Office
