Location: Remote -some occasional travel required

Salary: €32,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full-time / Monday - Friday 9am-5pm

Pieta strongly focusses on data-driven outcomes and evidence to successfully develop and manage Clinical Services that ultimately service our clients. Data is crucial in providing the vital insights, trends, and analysis to make these evidence-based decisions.

The Role

As a Junior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering regular reports and statistics to clinical and non-clinical teams across Pieta. There are also large key initiatives and projects that require analytical support.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Clinical Data Analyst by providing high quality data services and reports to support Pieta's activity
  • Collect data from our data management tools (Salesforce and Tableau) and run daily, weekly, and monthly reports for external and internal stakeholders
  • Respond to Clinical ad hoc data queries and support non-clinical teams within Pieta
  • Ensure all imports and exports of data are carried out in the appropriate manner and according to data briefs and timelines provided
  • Interpret raw data and turn into actionable and meaningful information. Identify trends that will inform evidence-based decision making
  • Develop reports with visual graphs and charts ensuring all charts are labelled correctly
  • Support the Data Analyst with data cleansing exercises to ensure data is up to date and compliant with GDPR standards and practices
  • Support the Data Analyst on large strategic projects and ad-hoc requests

 

Education, Skills & Experience required:

  • Third level degree in a relevant area
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in a business environment. A not-for-profit organisation is desirable but not essential
  • Experience of analysing complex data and simplifying into digestible analytical reports and insights for many different end users
  • Excellent IT skills and experience using Pivot tables, charts, VLookup, and other functions in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong experience of creating and producing data reports for business stakeholders
  • Experience of using Tableau and Salesforce is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent MS Office skills to include, Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills to meet priorities and deadlines
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and work collaboratively with other team members
  • Enthusiasm and consistently aims to deliver a high-quality service
