Grantmaking & Philanthropy Executive

Irish Youth Foundation | Dublin 2 | €35,000–€40,000 per annum

Help turn funding into opportunity for children and young people across Ireland.

The Irish Youth Foundation (IYF) is looking for a proactive, organised and curious Grantmaking & Philanthropy Executive to join our growing team.

Grantmaking is at the heart of this role. Working closely with our Grants Manager, you'll help ensure that funding reaches organisations making a difference in young people's lives. From managing grant processes and supporting funded organisations to gathering impact stories and reporting on results, you'll help us understand what our funding achieves.

You'll also work closely with our Development Manager to support philanthropic research, donor stewardship, fundraising proposals and reporting. It's a varied opportunity to develop your skills across grantmaking and philanthropy while contributing to a mission that matters.

What we're looking for

You're organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working with data, systems and deadlines. You enjoy building relationships, solving problems and getting things done. Experience in grantmaking or philanthropy is welcome, but your attitude, initiative and willingness to learn matter too.

What we offer

  • Salary: €35,000–€40,000 per annum
  • Contract: Initial one-year contract
  • Working arrangements: Hybrid, three days in our Dublin 2 office
  • Annual leave: 25 days, plus a two-week Christmas closure
  • Benefits: My Future Fund, Bike to Work scheme and professional development opportunities

You'll report to the Chief Executive Officer and join a collaborative team where your work will help strengthen the organisations supporting children and young people experiencing poverty and marginalisation.
