Learning Coordinator

Team: Training & Engagement | Location: Dublin/Hybrid | Full-time – 12 months contract

At Dogs Trust Ireland, you'll play an important role in supporting learning and development that empowers dog owners, professionals and our own people. As Learning Coordinator, you'll help ensure our learning programmes are delivered effectively, measured accurately and continuously improved to maximise their impact.

Working closely with the Learning Programme Manager and the wider Training and Engagement team, you'll coordinate learning activities across multiple platforms, manage learning data and reporting, and support the delivery of innovative learning initiatives that contribute to Dogs Trust Ireland's mission.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing learning administration across multiple digital learning platforms for internal and external audiences
  • Coordinating learner enrolments, permissions, learning pathways and providing first-line technical support
  • Organising and maintaining learning content to ensure it is accessible, accurate and up to date
  • Maintaining accurate learning records and ensuring data quality and compliance
  • Producing regular reports, dashboards and insights on learning participation, engagement and outcomes
  • Analysing learning data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement
  • Supporting project planning and the delivery of internal learning and development initiatives
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, stakeholders and external providers to coordinate learning activities
  • Supporting online learning communities by coordinating participant communications and encouraging engagement
  • Contributing to the development of learning resources, user guidance and best practice documentation
  • Supporting GDPR compliance and ensuring learning activities are delivered in line with organisational policies and procedures
  • Using data and feedback to continuously improve learning delivery and learner experience

 

What We're Looking For:

✅ Experience administering learning management systems or digital learning platforms

✅ Strong data management, reporting and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail

✅ Experience producing reports, dashboards and meaningful performance insights

✅ Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams

✅ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

✅ Confidence using learning technologies and providing first-line technical support

✅ Experience coordinating projects, schedules or learning activities across multiple stakeholders

✅ A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement

✅ A full Irish driving licence with access to your own transport

✅ A genuine commitment to the mission and values of Dogs Trust Ireland

 

Desirable:

  • A qualification in Learning and Development, Education or a related discipline
  • Experience working with Learning Management Systems such as Absor
  • Experience managing online learning communities or participant groups
  • Knowledge of GDPR and data protection requirements
  • Experience within the charity, not-for-profit or animal welfare sector
  • Experience using data visualisation or reporting tools
  • Experience coordinating projects involving multiple stakeholders
