Title: Supporter Services Assistant
Reports to: Supporter Services Manager
Contract type: Permanent
Hours/Days: Part-time 3 days per week (21hrs) 9am – 5pm – Days flexible.
Some evenings and weekend work may be required
Location: The Society operates a hybrid working model, with a combination of remote and in-person (Dublin 4 office) working.
Office Days: Ideally office based, but flexible to do 2 office days 1 remote day per week
Salary: €33,000 (FTE) – Full time equivalent per annum

What you'll do
As a Supporter Services Assistant, you will be working closely with fundraising and communications team colleagues on a range of campaigns including Daffodil Day and Community Events. You would work with members of the fundraising teams in developing, administering and maintaining relationships with our fundraisers and donors and delivering the Society's strategy and fundraising targets.

Who you are:
Qualifications and experience
· You will typically have 1-2 years' experience working in a fast paced administrative role, with direct patient or client contact. The Society measures experience based on the quality of the experience obtained, rather than in time passed and welcomes applicants at all stages of their career.
Person Specification
· Empathetic and compassionate: you will put the needs of the supporter first, demonstrating care and compassion toward all those you interact with, with an interest in the charity sector and growing your knowledge of Fundraising
· A clear and effective communicator, over the phone and in writing, with an ability to engage and build relationships with supporters and co-workers
· A practical problem-solver: you will be highly practical and able to come up with solutions and create efficiencies where possible
· An adaptable team player: you will work flexibly and collaboratively within your direct team, and with colleagues across the organisation, building strong relationships.
· Organised and efficient: you will be highly organised and efficient in your work, with a strong attention to detail, and working effectively to deadlines.
· Technology savvy: you will have a high level of proficiency in MS Office suite, and experience of working with CRM systems and databases, as well as using technology to support internal processes. Knowledge of MS Dynamics is an advantage.
