Are you an experienced corporate fundraiser who would like to work for one of Ireland's fastest-growing social enterprises? If this sounds like you, we have the ideal role here at FoodCloud.

About the Job:

FoodCloud is a fast-growing social enterprise with big ambitions. To support our growth plans and deliver even greater impact across communities in the coming years, FoodCloud is seeking a Corporate Fundraising Officer to join our Development Team.

This role is offered as a full-time, one-year fixed-term contract. FoodCloud is investing in the continued growth of its Development Team, and as the organisation scales its fundraising activity, there is potential for the role to grow or extend beyond the initial contract, subject to organisational needs and performance.

Reporting to the Head of Development, the Corporate Fundraising Officer will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with corporate prospects and partners, helping to grow corporate fundraising income in support of FoodCloud's strategic objectives.

To be successful in this role, the post holder will be skilled at developing and maintaining relationships, with strong presentation and communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. The ideal candidate will be solutions-oriented, curious about all aspects of FoodCloud's work, and motivated to identify and deliver new ways of generating income from corporate and major donors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the delivery of ambitious corporate fundraising targets as a key member of the Development Team.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of new corporate donors to support FoodCloud's strategic initiatives and income goals.
  • Contribute to the business development of new corporate donors through cultivation activities such as emails, phone calls, meetings, and events.
  • Develop and write professional funding proposals, applications, and donor reports, and present face-to-face to existing and prospective corporate donors.
  • Maximise the engagement of corporate partnerships, including leading on the development of staff fundraising initiatives.
  • Work alongside the Fundraising Administrator to maintain accurate and effective pipeline management on Salesforce, including records of approaches, responses, and activities.
  • Track, analyse, and report on fundraising performance using agreed metrics and performance measures.
  • Work cross-functionally to maximise leads and deliver collaborative projects.
  • Organise and support events to build FoodCloud's profile and strengthen relationships.
  • Work closely with the Communications and Stakeholder Engagement team on content, branding, and profile-raising activity.
  • Ensure all activity complies with FoodCloud policies, procedures, and relevant legislation, including GDPR.
  • Carry out other reasonable duties as required from time to time.

Skills & Experience:

  • Third-level qualification in business, marketing, communications, or another relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in business development and/or fundraising, with experience of working towards and achieving targets.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to develop and manage corporate partnerships.
  • Strategic thinking skills with the ability to identify opportunities and develop new income-generating approaches.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident presentation and public-speaking skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • High level of IT literacy, particularly Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • CRM experience desirable, particularly Salesforce.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to meet tight deadlines.
