Mercy Law Resource Centre (MLRC) is recruiting a Fundraising & Communications Officer.

MLRC is an independent law centre and charity which provides free legal advice and representation to people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless in the areas of public housing and social welfare law. MLRC also seeks to advocate change in laws, policies and attitudes which are unduly harsh and adversely impact its client group. For more details on MLRC, please see www.mercylaw.ie.

This is a unique opportunity to join a vibrant, dynamic independent law centre committed to the principles of human rights, social justice and equality. The Fundraising & Communications Officer will be an integral part of the MLRC team, reporting to the Managing Solicitor. The role will suit a creative, passionate, strategic thinker with experience of the non-profit sector, excellent communication skills and the ability to build successful lasting relationships.

The Communications & Fundraising Officer will be offered as a three-year contract with a six-month probationary period. The salary offered is commensurate with experience. This is a full-time position based at Mercy Law Resource Centre, 25 Cork Street, Dublin 8, with an option of remote working as agreed with the Managing Solicitor and in accordance with MLRC's Hybrid and Remote Working Policy.
