About the Job
Volunteers are the beating heart of FoodCloud. They are an essential part of our operations helping us to grow our impact and financial sustainability while controlling our operational costs. Volunteers include individuals from the community, corporate groups, and other community stakeholders . The Volunteer Coordinator will be part of the Development team and will report to the Volunteer Manager. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration and communication as you will work with teams across FoodCloud.
During the late summer/autumn, FoodCloud works with farm partners to “glean” or collect leftover crops from farmers' fields after they have been harvested, this role will coordinate several gleaning events across Ireland, liaising with farm partners, coordinating volunteers and reporting on outcomes.
